29th Annual FDIB Program
June 4, 2017 - June 9, 2017
The nation’s longest running and most comprehensive program for faculty teaching international business – in its 29th consecutive year – is hosted by the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business, the Moore School’s Sonoco International Business Department and the University of South Carolina CIBER. The program will be held in the Moore School in Columbia, South Carolina.
The program’s five concurrent seminars – (1) Survey of International Business, (2) International Management & Global Strategy, (3) International Financial Management, (4) Global Supply Chain and Operations Management and (5) International Marketing and Negotiations – are designed for faculty who desire to teach or who are already teaching international business courses, and provides them with the skills and resources necessary to create and implement a world-class international business curriculum. The program also offers one-hour bonus sessions on emerging and transition markets: China, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
There are a limited number of CIBER scholarships available and are awarded based on a first-come, first-served basis. Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) faculty are also eligible for a larger scholarship stipend, usually $1,000 per participant. The REGISTRATION website will be active soon – please register at your convenience for both the FDIB program and CIBER scholarship (as applicable).
