Global Business Languages (GBL) – Peer-Reviewed Business Language Studies Journal

Global Business Languages, (GBL) publishes original, peer-reviewed articles that make a significant contribution to the field of Business Language Studies. Embracing a broad definition of business, we welcome submissions in a variety of related interdisciplinary subfields within Language for Specific Purposes (LSP), such as language for the arts, law, health sciences, engineering, etc. The journal is published in English, but articles may pertain to any language, including English for non-native speakers. GBL is currently accepting manuscripts for the upcoming volume (25). We particularly welcome articles that are theoretically framed or empirically driven, and that offer new perspectives, and/or refine or challenge current practices in LSP. We encourage submissions of manuscripts that integrate theory and practice in the realm of teaching and learning Language for Specific Purposes, including business, but also the arts, engineering, law, etc. Articles may pertain to any language, including English for non-native speakers. State-of-the-art reviews on relevant technological tools, (text)books, and websites are also welcomed. Submission deadline: July 25, 2024.
