The 7th International Symposium on Languages for Specific Purposes (ISLSP) & Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) Business Language Conference took place at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., May 2-3, 2024. The conference theme was LSP Making Connections Within and Beyond the Classroom, and it gathered educators and scholars in Languages for Specific Purposes and Business Language Studies to examine the ways that they are bringing the world into the classroom and the classroom into the world. The theme allowed for exploration of both theory and practice in LSP, through lively sessions focused on innovative teaching, empirical research, and community engagement.
