LMU Center for International Business Education supports students’ experiential learning among various programs. One example is by providing internship resources and funding for international business internships.
Amanda Meegan ’21, a marketing major with a data analytics emphasis, completed a very rewarding internship in Global Investments at the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economics. Amanda described her internship as “hand-on” and “fulfilling” and indicated many of the projects “directly led to international partnerships, job creation, and economic prosperity.” Her favorite project “involved analyzing international trade data for use in the Lieutenant Governor’s briefings, two-way trade reports, and government webinars.” Moreover, Amanda expressed that the experience “set a foundation for [pursuing] a career in international trade and investment.”
